About the Company
The Company is an established, licensed Dubai-based financial advisory company that has recently been acquired by The Compass Group TCG, an international financial services group with multi-jurisdictional operations.
The firm provides regulated financial advisory and wealth management services and operates under the relevant UAE regulatory framework.
The acquisition marks the beginning of a new growth phase focused on professionalisation, governance, scalable AUM growth, and regional expansion.
The Role
We are seeking a commercially driven and operationally disciplined General Manager to lead the business in Dubai.
The General Manager will be responsible for the overall management, performance, regulatory integrity, and growth of the company. The successful candidate will act as the senior executive in Dubai, reporting to Group leadership.
Preference will be given to candidates currently based in Dubai with relevant UAE financial services experience. Exceptional international candidates willing to relocate will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Execute the post-acquisition integration strategy
- Develop and implement a 3–5 year growth plan
- Drive AUM growth through advisor recruitment and organic production
- Identify strategic partnerships and acquisition opportunities
Commercial Performance
- Deliver revenue and profitability targets
- Establish disciplined budgeting and cost controls
- Drive advisor productivity and accountability
- Implement performance metrics and KPIs across the business
Regulatory and Compliance Oversight
- Ensure full compliance with UAE regulatory requirements
- Maintain capital adequacy standards
- Work closely with compliance officers and regulators
- Ensure all business activities align with licensing permissions
Operational Excellence
- Implement robust operational systems and reporting frameworks
- Improve client onboarding and servicing standards
- Strengthen internal controls and governance
- Professionalise administrative and finance processes
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor and develop advisors and support staff
- Recruit high-quality financial advisors
- Establish a performance culture aligned with group standards
Group Integration
- Act as the primary liaison between Dubai operations and TCG Group
- Align reporting, governance, and financial systems with group standards
- Contribute to wider group strategic initiatives
Candidate Profile
Essential
- Minimum 7–10 years experience in financial advisory or wealth management
- Strong understanding of the UAE regulatory environment
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a regulated financial services business
- Proven track record of revenue growth and advisor management
- Strong financial acumen and commercial discipline
Preferred
- Experience operating within an SCA regulated or similar framework
- Experience post-acquisition integration
- Experience scaling advisory businesses
- Established professional network in the UAE market

The Opportunity
We are looking for commercially driven Wealth Managers with an established client base and transferable assets under management.
This role is designed for experienced professionals seeking a strong institutional platform, multi-jurisdiction capability and scalable investment solutions to support further AUM growth.
Candidates with existing clients and portable AUM will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Manage and grow an existing book of high-net-worth and mass affluent clients
Deliver holistic wealth management advice across investments, retirement, protection and structured solutions
Maintain long-term trusted adviser relationships
Business Development
Transfer and onboard existing clients where appropriate
Generate new business through personal networks and referrals
Identify cross-border advisory opportunities
Investment Advisory
Construct and manage client portfolios using approved investment frameworks
Utilise group Managed Portfolio Solutions and structured investment offerings
Ensure suitability and ongoing portfolio review
Compliance and Governance
Operate fully within local regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate client documentation and reporting
Ensure all transactions are processed through approved company systems
Collaboration
Work closely with group compliance, operations and corporate services teams
